Our journey so far…

The Silverback Alehouse opened in July 2016. It’s founder was Derek. He was inspired by a micropub he visited in Yorkshire and spotted the opportunity to bring one to Winton, Bournemouth.

The micropub has gone from strength to strength since then. Especially following Milton’s appointment to Manager in 2017. He bought his vast retail experience and passion for real ale to make it even more successful.

Milton purchased the micropub from Derek in 2022. He now runs the pub as the Owner/Manager. This hasn’t stopped Milton from being hands-on and you are likely to be served a fresh, flavoursome pint by him on your next visit.
